What is passed through, and how
On the hosted options, four things can cost money: texts, email above an allowance, domains, and model usage when our agent does the work. Each is passed through at what it cost us plus a stated percentage. You see the figure before you are charged, and the allowance and the percentage will be published on this page before anyone is billed.
Bring your own email, text or model account and those costs are yours directly, with nothing added.
Plain questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The software and every plugin are free, and the code is published. On the hosted options you pay only what it costs us to run things for you, plus a stated percentage. Pipedline makes its money elsewhere: on that usage, on courses for agencies and developers, and on Criota, a creator-campaign service that plugs in.
What is the percentage?
It has not been decided, so it is not written here. It will be stated before you are charged for anything, and this page will say it first. We will never invent a number to look complete.
What exactly is passed through?
Texts. Email above an allowance. Domains, if you buy one through us. Model usage, when our agent does the work rather than your own assistant. Each is passed through at what it cost us, plus the stated percentage, and shown before you are charged.
Is billing live?
No. The hosted service is pre-release and billing has not been built. Until it is, and until the percentage is published here, nothing is charged.
Do I have to use your website, ordering or bookings?
No. Keep every tool you have. The record, the definitions and the guardrails around your assistant work with your existing till and nothing else switched on. The website, QR menu, ordering, delivery and bookings are plugins you can leave off.
Which assistants work?
Claude and ChatGPT today, connected the way each one allows. The free guide shows the same method on either. Your assistant subscription is yours; we do not resell it.
Can the assistant change things without asking?
No. Every change proposes first and happens only when a person says yes. Everything it does is written down, with before and after. If you later want some jobs to run on their own, you switch that on one job at a time.
Is it ready for my venue?
Not yet. It is built and tested against simulated services and Square’s test environment, and has not run a real venue. Start a venue to try it; read the free guide if you want results this week with the tools you already have.
Not sure which way is yours? Start with the free guide: it needs none of the three.
